Jets Squeak by New England in OT

MVP Ken O'Brien

Freeman McNeil scored on a 25yd pass reception with 10 minutes left in overtime to give the Jets a thrilling 30-24 win in their home opener.  Ken O'Brien was the key to the Jets offense, completing 24 of 32 passes for 280yds and 2 touchdowns.  McNeil tallied 83yds on the ground plus another 40 in pass receptions, including the game winner.
The Jets had no answer for New England's Stanley Morgan who caught 10 passes for 205yds and 3 touchdowns.  Tony Eason completed 23 of 29 passes for 398yds and the 3 touchdowns to Morgan, but it was Eason's interception in overtime that led to New York's winning score.
Next week, New York will host Miami while New England will return home to face Seattle.
