In a very close game played at the Superdome, Joe Montana proved once again why he is a Hall of Famer going 26 of 33 for 225 yards and 2 TD's, zero picks. Roger Craig rushed for 73 yards on 21 carries to complement the balanced attack. Hebert had a decent game 15-25 174 2 TD's no picks but it wasn't enough for the disappointed Saints faithful.
