The "AS REAL AS IT GETS" simulation football league is a unique format that allows any and all to get involved in the replay of football history. You can select a single team and play them for an entire season OR play a different team each and every week! In any case, you will be part of a project that will simulate the NFL of the past throughout 75 plus years of football history.

New England 27 Green Bay 6
New England claws back to 500 with a big road win at Lambeau Field. New England
was able to pass effectively throwing only 11 completions but for 150 yards and 2 TD passes, he did throw 2 picks too. John Stephens continued his bull like effort rushing 20 times for 80 yards and a TD. They also played solid defense holding the Majik man to 19 of 41 while picking him off 3 times and sacking him another 3 times (qb rtg of 38). Still Green Bay made it close late in the 3rd when they picked off Flutie at mid field then on 4th down Majik man hit a double covered Sharpe from 28 yards out for a TD (xtra pt. missed). Flutie on the following drive redeemed himself with completions to Fryar of 10 and 14 yards and to Morgan for 22 , 17 and a 10 yard TD toss. That drive accounted for almost 50% of their passing yards for game and salted away the game.

San Francisco 33 Detroit 7
The Lions recover a 1st quarter fumble and march for the opening score to lead 7 - 0. After that it was basically the Roger Craig show as he scores two TD's and leads the 49ers to a 33 - 7 win at home. The weirdest play was when Mike Cofer set up for a short FG and when the snap was botched the holder (Punter Barry Helton) somehow finds a hole and dives over for the TD???? Just goes to show you never know what may happen.
